Homemade Whipped Cream

RECIPE

Prep Time: 5 minutes + 30 minutes bowl chill time

Servings: 4 cups

Whipped Cream is a favorite topping of many to put the finishing touches on a great dessert. I believe nothing beats homemade whipped cream and it only requires 3 ingredients!

Notes:

You can refrigerate for up to 3 days in an airtight container.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream, cold

  • ½ cup Powdered Sugar

  • 1 Teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract

Recommended Equipment

  • Large Mixing Bowl, glass or metal

  • Hand Mixer with Whisk Attachment

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place a large mixing bowl in the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes.

2. To the mixing bowl, add in heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.

3. Using a hand mixer with a wire whisk attachment, mix all of the ingredients together, starting on a low speed and gradually increase to high speed while the mixture firms up.

4. Mix for approximately 1-2 minutes or until stiff peaks form. Be mindful to scrape down the sides of the bowl halfway through mixing.

5. Once done you can serve. To serve you can transfer the mixture into a piping bag and use with your favorite desserts. You can refrigerate for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
