If you're looking for a simple entree to make for a weeknight dinner try this Honey Orange Glazed Salmon. What I love about this recipe is that it can be fully cooked in the oven in under 15 minutes by broiling it. Through broiling, we can achieve a crispy outer layer with flaky salmon. The honey orange glaze provides a nice touch of sweet and citrus notes that compliment the salmon well.

Honey Orange Glazed Salmon
Ingredients
2 pounds Salmon, sliced into fillets
Old Bay Seasoning, to taste
Sauce
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup honey
¼ cup fresh orange juice, about ½ an orange
1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to broil.
2. Pat salmon dry to remove excess moisture.
3. Season salmon fillets with Old Bay Seasoning on all sides, or with spices of choice. Be mindful of the sodium level in Old Bay seasoning and to not over season. Can add more or less if desired.
4. Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Evenly space and place salmon on the baking pan. Place the pan in the oven about 6-8 inches away from the broiler (approximately center of oven).
5. Bake salmon uncovered for about 8-15 minutes until browned and reach desired doneness. Keep an eye on the salmon as it is cooking to ensure it does not burn. The salmon will cook fast and have an outside char to it, but should not burn. Cook longer if needed to reach the desired doneness of the salmon.
6. In a large skillet over medium-low heat, add in butter. Once the butter is melted, add in minced garlic and saute for 1 minute until fragrant. Next, add in honey, orange juice, and soy sauce. Mix ingredients together well and bring to a low simmer. Simmer sauce for about 5 minutes, while periodically stirring, until sauce reduces and thickens. Sauce should be thick enough to coat the back of a metal spoon.
7. Once salmon is done, baste in the citrus glaze and serve.
